Glowforge Aura Setup Checklist: Wattage, Wood Engraving, and the Fiber Laser Question

I've handled laser engraving and cutting orders for six years now. 1. Verify the spec sheet before you unbox

We treat it like a delivery truck check: one minute to confirm the machine is still within spec. For school projects, this also means checking the lens is clean before engraving acrylic. Fingerprints on the lens produce smoky, inconsistent results, and it's avoidable.

5. Log the real cost per job
