If you're a high-volume production shop needing 8+ hours/day metal cutting, look at fiber lasers or CNC. If you're a hobbyist wanting to save money, the diode options are cheaper but limited.

The decision isn't about which laser is "best"—it's about which laser fits your actual workload, material mix, and budget. And that's a question only you can answer.
